Qualità dell'aria interna - CO2 -CO - Chiusura Ermetica

Nei luoghi confinati sono molti gli inquinanti interni (bio-aerosol, contaminanti gassosi tra cui i VOC, particelle o anche odori e elevata umidità) che possono incrementare la propria concentrazione in relazione ad una errata gestione dei ricambi orari a discapito della salute degli occupanti. La questione dei ricambi d’aria si pone maggiormente durante l’inverno, periodo in cui le finestre restano chiuse a lungo per cercare di mantenere il calore nei locali abitati e si aprono solo sporadicamente per eliminare gli odori e garantire una buona qualità dell’aria. Un indicatore immediato dell'insufficienza dei ricambi orari è senza ombra di dubbio la concetrazione di CO2. Diapositiva4

L'immagine precedente mostra la strumentazione a nostra disposizione che può registrare la concentrazione di CO2 in ambiente per una durata di più giorni e con una cadenza anche di pochi minuti. Il grafico mostra come in una stanza senza ventilazione meccanica la concentrazione notturna può raggiungere anche 2000 ppm che è il doppio previsto dall'OMS come limite per una qualità dell'aria accettabile. Il controllo del ricambio d’aria negli ambienti garantisce condizioni di comfort sia termoigrometriche che olfattive oltre che l'importante necessità di una migliore qualità dell’aria dovuta allo smaltimento degli odori interni.

Norme di riferimento: ASHRAE 62.1 – 2004, Decreto Legge 81/2008. Le norme si applicano a tutti gli spazi chiusi che possono essere occupati da persone. Sono inclusi, a causa della presenza di elevata umidità, le cucine, i bagni, gli spogliatoi e le piscine. Vanno presi in considerazione, in funzione della qualità dell’aria, eventuali contaminanti chimici, fisici e biologici.
